No. You get paid to sell real health & life insurance to people who actually need it — through commissions and renewals — not to recruit anyone. There's no fee to join, and no kit or product to buy; your only startup cost is your state license, paid to the state (not to us). Building a team later can earn overrides, which is standard across the entire insurance industry — a bonus on top of your own production, never the point of the business.
Yes — it's a 1099, performance-based career with no income cap and no clock to punch. You're paid for results, which is exactly why we ask whether you have a short financial runway before starting. But it's not one-and-done: there are 6 income streams — weekly commissions, monthly residuals, quarterly association bonuses, 6-month production bonuses, the year-long HOPE bonus, and overrides — so your income compounds as you grow.
You'll need a state Health & Life insurance license — a course, a state exam, and an application. It's set by your state and typically runs in the low hundreds of dollars, paid to your state (not to us). We walk you through every step and help you pass fast. There's no buy-in to join the team beyond that.
No cold-calling. We hand you warm, opted-in leads — people who raised their hand for insurance — free for your first 3 months. After that, leads are still provided, and most agents also choose to invest in extra data to scale faster (commonly $500–$1,000/week), reinvesting into their business as it grows.
